Journal Reading Room is situated on the first floor in the building I, entrance A.
Reference book collection of the Journal Reading Room features about 3 600 current issues of national magazines and 63 titles of foreign periodicals. It is complemented by a collection of Polish Journals of Laws, Polish Journals of Acts and Polish Official Gazettes of the Republic of Poland issued since 1918 up to now.
Readers have unlimited access to current periodicals and newspapers displayed on bookshelves of the reading room. In order to borrow older issues, they must submit call slips.
Periodicals, with the exception of large formats, are issued for photocopying at the Pomeranian Library’s Photocopying Service.
The Reading Room has 5 microreader stations . Copies of microfilms can be made at the Photocopying Service.
Two computer terminals give access to the databases of the Pomeranian Library and the National Library as well as to an electronic version of Magazine Content Bibliography.
The collection of the nineteenth-century magazines may be used once a written consent of the Collection Access Department Manager or the Pomeranian Library Director has been obtained.
