Information centre is situated on the first floor in the building  I, entrance A.

The InformationCentre has a rich and systematically updated collection of encyclopaedias, lexicons, dictionaries, guidebooks and bibliographies that can be used on the Library’s premises.

The Information Centre employees provide information on the Pomeranian Library and other libraries’ collections. They offer professional guidance, they demonstrate how to use sources of information, and prepare bibliographic registers, compile guidebooks, handbooks and occasional publications and how to create databases. They also show visitors around the Library, give library lessons, and organize thematic exhibitions.

Computer terminals at the Information Centre provide access to the Pomeranian Library’s online catalogues. These catalogues feature collections which have been gathered by the Library since 1994, while card catalogues inform about books and journals incorporated in our collections up to 1999.
